1) Vlhkost osiva zelenin se stanovuje pouze na vyžádání.

2) Průměrný počet klíčenců na 100 plodů.

3) Osivo musí svým vzhledem odpovídat čištěnému osivu.

4) U super sladkých typů kukuřice cukrové je požadovaná minimální klíčivost snížena na 80 %. Úřední návěska nebo návěska dodavatele musí v takovém případě obsahovat text "Klíčivost nejméně 80 %".

Další požadavky:

- odrůdová čistota a pravost u kategorií certifikovaný rozmnožovací materiál a standardní osivo je následně kontrolována ve vegetačních zkouškách,

- mezní hodnoty výskytu škodlivých organismů uvádí tabulka 5.3.
